Theme: Issues Obama Will Face as President

1) I call this: Green Is God, it shows what the general sentiment of the youth and their attitudes towards government. A lot of us feel that we are surrounded by a world of green, and money is the only thing that truly matters in this country. This image help conveys the level of distrust Obama is going to have to somehow disprove. I also enjoy how there is this narrow path that isn’t green that it looks like the person is walking on, but it gets narrower and narrower as he walks, until there is no where to walk but green.

2) The second image of Obama, the American flag, and the McDonald sign conveys some more personal opinions. Obama can have just about as much affect on our government and its corruptions as a manager at McDonalds could there, they are both large corporations that any one man may only minutely effect.  The American flag is in the background being overwhelmed by the McDonalds sign, making the point that our government really answers to big business and not to individuals, or people.

3) Is meant to represent our run down infrastructure, and the problem of filth and garbage in our big cities and college towns. You see a line of youth stretching through an urban wasteland, dodging dumpsters, never looking back and following the leader straight into paradise aka a brick wall. I added the no trespassing sign and highlighted the text on the dumpster “Fuckin Ballin Son” (which I did find ironic) changing it from a bland white to my favorite bright neon green.
